I Pretty Art! - 3

Settling back into home life again Cannot believe another ten week term has passed it feels like Christmas was last week - I haven't uploaded any new work in a while - I've been strangling coursework and wrestling with writers block. In my spare moments I have a nebb on deviantart (fantastic distraction) and I am so excited for GAME OF THRONES commencing this Monday They really need to stop making us wait a year...


I came across this piece by called Coeurs fondants and I just fell in love with it. It is SO pretty! I thought that this piece is bursting with originality - it has a really surreal quality to it as well - a romantic Salvador Dali? The more I look at it the more detail I see as well - the shadow on the girls back from the candlelight on the bracket is just fantastic and the lighting and shading is wonderful.


A photograph that caught my eye is Between by
I thought this piece is bold and original and generally a great concept! Clever because it manipulates natural surroundings into appearing like something else - rather than an artificial studio with lights and effects...etc. Really - this demonstrates that simplicity is brilliance I love this photo


Purely for the gorgeous bright colours and the fact that I can't stop watching it, I had to feature Daze by There is so much motion in just a small amount of time - her billowing hair (like Disney's Ariel) and the opening and closing of their eyes - the whole thing is just adorable and I really hope it wins the Valentines contest it's been entered in for!

And I love this piece Through The Looking Glass by I love Alice in Wonderland and Through the looking glass I love how all the characters from the books are framed on the walls and Alice/Malice's dresses are awesome



And purely because I love Disney and fanart in general and that I've never seen this before - a piece by called Disney Princess Dress Sawp (Clue is in the title) We are all tired of seeing Princesses in the same poses wearing the same dresses - I definately thought that this kicked it up a notch!
